We are a little different than other Agencies. We do the little things others don't and wont. We meet our families yearly so there are no surprises come claim time. We educate our families, so they know what they have, and why they have it. For example: We had a mom who never had a ticket or accident in 20 years hit black ice one winter causing a 10-car pile-up. The officer said it was her fault. Six weeks later, she called our office in a panic asking, "Does my home cover anything" we asked her "why are you asking?" She said, "I received a bill for over $700,000" We looked up her account and said, "You will need to give your husband a big hug when he gets home" She asked "Why is that?" We said, "He met with us a few months ago for the yearly review. We saw a gap in your insurance, and he put a 1-million-dollar protection policy (umbrella) that cost hardly anything, you will have the coverage you need." She was relived and asked, "I'm curious, what would have happened if my husband didn't put on the 1-million-dollar umbrella policy?" We answered, "Insurance would have covered about $100,000 and you would most likely be on the hook for the remaining $600,000. What do you want your insurance to do for you?" UT-785102
