Atara Health Solutions in Gainesville, Virginia, is a welcoming, supportive psychiatric clinic that provides effective medications to alleviate the symptoms of a wide range of mental health disorders. Founded by compassionate psychiatric nurse practitioner Norman Jacobowitz, Atara Health Solutions helps people ages 16 and over, of all ethnicities and sexual orientations in the Manassas, Gainesville, Haymarket, Clifton, Centreville, Chantilly, Warrenton, and points west.
Norman graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, in 1992. He earned his nurse practitioner degree at Marymount University in Arlington, VA in 2010 and completed further studies at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. 
He’s nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed to prescribe psychiatric medications. He’s proud to have helped individuals with psychiatric disorders feel better and live fuller lives for more than 10 years.
At Atara Health Solutions, Norman treats conditions ranging from attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to schizophrenia spectrum disorders. He takes time to get to know each patient and their symptoms and adjusts medications as necessary in subsequent visits. He also offers telemedicine follow-up visits.
