The Swansea Fforestfach centre was originally opened in 2005 and became part of the Protyre network in 2011. The size of the building means that at any time 16,000 tyres are in stock from all the leading manufacturers including Bridgestone, Pirelli, Michelin, Continental and Goodyear Dunlop. The centre also offers a tyre service to local hauliers with a tyre management service for trucks, tractor units and trailers. The expert team of truck tyre fitters are on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year for emergency call out.

The retail operation offers a tyre fitting and mechanical service for domestic drivers of cars, vans, 4x4s and SUVs. The centre also supplies and fits motorcycle tyres for all makes and riding styles. The mechanical business will undertake mechanical repairs and servicing and has two oerational MOT lanes for class 4 and class 7 vehicles. The centre has also gained a reputation for offering repairs, tyres and MOTs for caravans and mobile homes. Full alignment facilities are available in the Ystrad Road centre.
